服事者才為大
20 那時，西庇太兒子的母親和她兩個兒子上前來，向耶穌叩頭，求祂一件事。21 耶穌問她：「你要甚麼呢？」她對耶穌說：「在祢的國裏，請讓我這兩個兒子一個坐在祢右邊，一個坐在祢左邊。」22 耶穌回答：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼。我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們對祂說：「我們能。」23 耶穌說：「我所喝的杯，你們要喝。可是坐在我的左右，不是我可以賜的，而是我父為誰預備就賜給誰。」24 其餘十個門徒聽見，就對他們兄弟二人很生氣。25 耶穌叫了他們來，說：「你們知道，外邦人有君王作主治理他們，有大臣操權管轄他們。26 但是在你們中間，不可這樣。你們中間誰願為大，就要作你們的用人；27 誰願為首，就要作你們的僕人。28 正如人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價。」(馬太福音二十20-28．和修)
20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of Him. 21 “What is it you want?” He asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at Your right and the other at Your left in your kingdom.” 22 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”“We can,” they answered. 23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.” 24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. 25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:20-28. 分享：在美國革命期間，有位軍官正在指揮屬下士兵修復一棟軍用建築。他對士兵咆哮下令，要他們舉起一根沉重的木橫梁。當這些士兵用盡全力地嘗試把橫梁舉起，放到適當位置時，一位路人來問這個發號施令的軍官說：「為什麼你不去幫助他們抬木橫梁？」這名軍官頓時高姿態地回答說：「先生，我可是一名軍官，怎需要做這些事呢！」
之後，路人立即除下帽子，向軍官鞠躬，說：「真的對不起，軍官，請讓我也來幫手吧。」接著，路人便與士兵們一同用力抬起沉重的木橫梁。當他們完成工作之後，這名路人轉過身來對軍官說：「軍官先生，下次如果有類似工作，你又面臨人手短缺時，別忘了叫總司令來幫忙。我會再來幫你的。」這名軍官頓時呆若木雞，原來這個跟他說話的人正是總司令華盛頓將軍！
上帝視謙卑服事者為大。主耶穌已經樹立了一個榜樣：「祂來，不是要受人服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價」(參馬太福音二十28)，即使祂是配得所有榮耀的上帝，祂仍願意服侍人、為人捨命！要想在上帝的國裡為大，動手服事人吧！
反思： 門徒爭大的事情，給你什麼反思？耶穌服侍人的榜樣，給你什麼提醒？
行動：在今個星期留意身邊有什麼人需要幫助，立即動手服侍他們吧！
