別讓機會溜走
6 耶穌在伯大尼的痲瘋病人西門家裏，7 有一個女人拿著一玉瓶極貴的香膏來，趁耶穌坐席的時候，澆在祂的頭上。8門徒看見就很不高興，說：「何必這樣浪費呢！9 這香膏可以賣許多錢，賙濟窮人。」10 耶穌看出他們的意思，就說：「為甚麼難為這女人呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。11 因為常有窮人和你們在一起，但是你們不常有我。12 她把這香膏澆在我身上是為我安葬作準備的。13 我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麼地方傳這福音，都要述說這女人所做的，來記念她。」(馬太福音廿六6-13．和修)
6 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, 7 a woman came to Him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on His head as He was reclining at the table. 8 When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. 9 “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” 10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. 12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. 13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” (Matthew 26:6-13. 分享：聖經中記載了一個用香膏膏耶穌的女子(約翰福音十二3節提到她名叫馬利亞)。耶穌特別吩咐，每當傳福音時，就要述說她的故事。馬利亞將一瓶相當於一年工資的真哪噠香膏，毫不吝惜地澆在耶穌頭上，此舉令與耶穌同席的人感到不滿。一般相信馬利亞這樣的舉動，顯示了她已預見耶穌即將受死，耶穌也是如此形容這舉動。 (因為香膏有安葬之用，參約翰福音十二7)
「何用這樣的枉費呢？」在場的人表示那香膏可用來賙濟窮人 (參馬太福音廿六8-9)。然而，要是他們當時並非與耶穌一同用膳，而是身處耶穌的葬禮，他們一定有不同的反應。不過，因為耶穌仍然在世，馬利亞如此向祂表示自己的敬愛之意，即遭人指為浪費。
馬利亞的奉獻提醒我們：需要為活著的人打破自己珍貴的香膏瓶。可惜的是，我們往往等到他們離世後， 才會向他們表達以往沒有說出口的感激。俗語說：「蘇州過後無艇搭」，請不要到了沒有機會時才後悔沒有對所愛的人表達感激與愛。
反思：在你心目中，是否有一些朋友或家人，會因你的關愛和感謝而大受安慰呢？
