為什麼守律法？
28 有一個文士來，聽見他們的辯論，知道耶穌回答得好，就問祂說：「誡命中哪一條是第一呢？」29 耶穌回答：「第一是：『以色列啊，你要聽，主—我們的上帝是獨一的主。30 你要盡心、盡性、盡意、盡力愛主—你的上帝。』31 第二是：『要愛鄰如己。』再沒有比這兩條誡命更大的了。」32那文士對耶穌說：「好，老師，你說得對，上帝是一位，除了祂以外，再沒有別的了；33 並且盡心、盡智、盡力愛祂，又愛鄰如己，要比一切燔祭和祭祀好得多。」34 耶穌見他回答得有智慧，就對他說：「你離上帝的國不遠了。」從此以後，沒有人敢再問祂甚麼。(馬可福音十二28-34．和修)
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked Him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but Him. 33 To love Him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask Him any more questions. 分享：基督徒都知道要遵守上帝的命令，但我們是否真的知道固中原由？從經驗分析，遵守上帝命令的人，主要基於以下幾種原因。第一，有些人只是消極地遵守命令，因為他們害怕被上帝懲罰，又或是害怕失去一些好處，所以就戰戰兢兢地遵守命令。第二，有些人會選擇性地遵守命令，當命令與自身想法、利益沒有衝突的情況之下，才願意遵守。第三，有些人已經習慣性地遵守命令，或許並不需要思想什麼，總之就是習慣了遵守命令⋯⋯
在耶穌跟文士的對話中可見，耶穌希望我們遵守命令的原因是「盡心、盡性、盡意、盡力愛主—你的上帝」這是一種積極的遵從，是出於愛上帝的遵從。當我們抓緊了「愛上帝」這原因，除了可以更積極地遵行上帝命令之外，更影響我們日常的言行舉止，讓我們更能夠活出美麗見證，榮耀上帝的名！
耶穌最後形容那文士「離上帝的國不遠了」，你渴望得到耶穌這樣的肯定嗎？
反思：你今天有沒有遵守上帝的命令？如有，又是出於什麼原因呢？
行動：寫下 (至少) 一個愛上帝的實踐。
