十架為我榮耀
25 他們把祂釘十字架的時候是上午九點鐘。26 罪狀牌上寫的是：「猶太人的王。」27 他們又把兩個強盜和祂同釘十字架，一個在右邊，一個在左邊。28 〔有古卷加「28 這就應驗了經上的話說：他被列在罪犯之中。」〕29 從那裏經過的人譏笑祂，搖著頭，說：「哼！祢這拆毀殿、三日又建造起來的，30 救救祢自己，從十字架上下來呀！」31 眾祭司長和文士也這樣嘲笑祂，彼此說：「祂救了別人，不能救自己。32 以色列的王基督，現在從十字架上下來，好讓我們看見就信了呀！」那和祂同釘的人也譏諷他。33 到了正午，全地都黑暗了，直到下午三點鐘。34 下午三點鐘的時候，耶穌大聲呼喊：「以羅伊！以羅伊！拉馬撒巴各大尼？」（翻出來就是：我的上帝！我的上帝！為甚麼離棄我？）(馬可福音十五25-34．和修)
28 這事以後，耶穌知道各樣的事已經成了，為使經上的話應驗，就說：「我渴了。」29 有一個盛滿了醋的罐子放在那裏，他們就拿海綿蘸滿了醋，綁在牛膝草上，送到他嘴邊。30 耶穌嘗了那醋，說：「成了！」就低下頭，斷了氣。(約翰福音十九28-30．和修)
25 It was nine in the morning when they crucified Him. 26 The written notice of the charge against Him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS. 27 They crucified two rebels with Him, one on His right and one on His left. 29 Those who passed by hurled insults atHim, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, 30 come down from the cross and save Yourself !” 31 In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked Him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but He can’t save Himself! 32 Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with Him also heaped insults on Him. 33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. 34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”). 28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. (John 19:28-30. NIV)

分享：古代許多罪犯和反叛者都被釘十字架處死。相傳在公元前四年希律王死後，發生了一場叛亂，羅馬兵丁在往加利利的路上排了2,000多個十字架，每個十字架上都有一具叛亂者的屍體，他們的目的是將恐懼深植人心，讓人們從此不敢背叛羅馬政府。十字架是懲罰、痛苦和羞辱的象徵。然而，今天基督徒卻用十字架裝飾教堂、當成首飾戴在身上，並且歌頌讚美它。你明白固中意義嗎？
同樣是被釘十字架，耶穌的情況卻是完全不一樣的。雖然耶穌在肉體上及心靈上也承受了同樣的折磨。祂甚至在十架上大叫：「我的上帝！我的上帝！為甚麼離棄我？」(參馬可福音十五34)然而，耶穌很清楚自己為什麼被釘十字架：祂犧牲性命為世人償還了罪的贖價，同時也戰勝了死亡的權勢，為世人帶來了得救的盼望。當耶穌說「成了」的一刻，祂改變了十字架的意義：這可怕、痛苦和羞辱的象徵，轉化成拯救、愛與得勝的記號。
耶穌並沒有犯任何的罪，卻甘願被釘在十字架上。耶穌在十字架上成就的救贖使我們的罪得赦免，耶穌的復活讓我們最終能勝過死亡，這就是基督徒珍惜十字架的原因！
